If you’re heading to the Osaka Expo, you need to stop by Kuroneko Yamato’s booth. Trust us. And while they do offer baggage storage and shipping, that’s not why you want to go. Running for the duration of the Expo (through October 13), the “Dreaming World of Kuroneko” has an installation over 100 stickers that the company uses to indicate the content of packages and corresponding levels of fragility and speed.

From strawberries and eggs to ice cream and watermelon, there is seemingly a sticker for almost every kind of package. And each is more adorably illustrated than the next. It’s a nice reminder of how much thought and care goes into Yamato’s delivery philosophy. Visitors are welcome to take home certain stickers as well, but are limited to 2 per person.

Yamato has also set up a photo-friendly space featuring a giant Kuroneko mascot. Visitors are encouraged to snap pictures giving the cat a high-five or explore a special delivery box experience that opens with facial recognition. It’s a lighthearted way to engage with one of Japan’s most beloved delivery brands, blending convenience with interactive fun.
The response so far has been so enthusiastic that Yamato may adjust the sticker distribution as the event continues. Whether you’re sending luggage ahead, storing your bags, or simply looking for a cute collectible, the Kuroneko counters offer a thoughtful blend of utility and creativity. It’s small but so far one of our favorite parts of the Expo 2025 experience.
